Newsletter - Summer 2009 This is an exciting year for Sleepy Hollow Performing Artists! It is with great joy that we moved into our new state-of-the-art facility at 362 North Broadway in Sleepy Hollow. We are widely recognized in Westchester County as an elite training ground for young performers and as a diverse and exciting company. The members of our staff work as a team to ensure the studio is run in a highly organized and efficient manner. Sleepy Hollow Performing Artists employs only dedicated individuals who truly care about their “home away from home”; love what they do; and whose primary goals are the well being of our students and supporting our growth and vitality. What a fabulous time we’ve had since moving into our new home last October! We began with a bang at the Dancing With the Teachers fundraiser for the Irvington Education Foundation. David Scott (David Scott Productions), Susan Kasarsky, the IEF and Debralyn did an amazing job and it was thrilling to see the behind the scenes video of our students rehearsing their teachers for a big show. DWTT was immediately followed by Nutcracker Now! at Irvington Town Hall Theater (see News and Press on the website) which was met with rave reviews. April continued with company members performing at Westchester Community College, with a Dance Marathon, and a workshop at the studio. Our June show Showstoppers! featured a variety of dance and musical styles at Irvington Town Hall Theater. The show received a standing ovation!
