For our instruction in theater and dance to succeed we need to ensure that there is a positive and inviting atmosphere for all our students (and their parents). Therefore, any student (or parent) whose negative behavior or comments are damaging to the productivity and positive attitude of the studio may be dismissed from the SHPA program at any time or asked to leave the premises.
PARENTS’ ETIQUETTE
Please be sure that your dancer is at class on time and picked up on time. We are a performing arts studio and not a babysitting service.
All dancers, regardless of age, are asked to wait inside for their ride. Parents should come inside to pick up younger dancers.
The LOBBY is a common waiting area. Please keep it clean and orderly. If you bring young children with you to wait for your dancer, please keep them under control.
Remember that a glass wall separates the lobby from the SHPA offices where the staff is trying to conduct business. Please keep voices and noise to a moderate level while waiting for your dancer.
Please do not come into the office to “hang out.” If, however, you have any problems or concerns, do not hesitate to knock on the office door and tell the staff.
Email is the best way to reach any of our staff, including Debralyn.
We take our jobs very seriously. We are here to ensure that all of our students, children and adults, receive the very best training in the best facility we can offer. We need to continue our work to keep the studio running smoothly. Please volunteer to help us however you can. We are grateful for every small gesture of help that our dancers and parents offer.
